Hi! Welcome to my portfolio. My name is Nur Shahanis Bte Selamat, hence, NSBS. In this portfolio, I will mainly showcase my best works for both photography and digital illustration design. In my aesthetics of photography, I like to find ordinary, every day items and bring out its uniqueness. The viewfinder is my solace as I could express my creativity in my point of view. Upon taking pictures of everyday people, my comfortable and favourite style would be candid as I am able to capture a raw moment of a person’s life. Moreover, I do enjoy taking posing models because I am able to have the models to portray a certain storyline to my pictures, as the saying goes, “A picture speaks a thousand word”. However, in post production, I like to transform some of the ordinary pictures into something abstract and interesting. As for my aesthetics of illustration design, I mainly like to play with colors, shapes and fonts to create something aesthetically pleasing.
